Ryan Doyle Freeruns Machu Picchu

Ryan Doyle goes freerunning at Machu Picchu as part of his Red Bull "Seven Wonders of the World" Tour
When Red Bull told Ryan Doyle that they’d be sending him around the world to freerun at some of the planet’s most iconic cultural locations, he probably had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. So far the talented traceur has been let loose of Rome’s historic Colosseum, home of the legendary gladiators, as well as being unleashed on the famous beaches of Rio de Janeiro, training ground for many of the world’s best football players.
Now, the intrepid PK explorer has been packed off to the Peruvian ruins of Machu Picchu, one time home of the mighty Inca, the pre-Columbian civilisation that ruled much of South America. Situated almost two and a half thousand meters above sea level, high-up in the Peruvian Andes, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is not easily reached and is even less easily utilised for sport, making Doyle’s PK sojourn to the age old ruins something very special indeed.
If you’ve not already checked out the video, we recommend you give it a watch. The PK action is pretty thin on the ground, but what there is is impressive and the surroundings are incredible.
