Ryan Doyle Freerunning in India – PK Meets Bollywood

***Watch the video below***

Parkour legend Ryan Doyle continue his world tour with a trip to India, where he learns Bhangra dancing, visits the Taj Mahal and escapes to the rooftops of a local marketIt comes as no surprise that PK legend, Ryan Doyle, has an appreciation for the geometry of the Taj Mahal, after all, Parkour is all about mankind’s relationship with the dynamics of physical space. The world famous white marble mausoleum was constructed in the seventeenth century in memory of a Mughal Emperor’s wife. It was built with a degree of accuracy that still baffles modern-day scientists, a fact that clearly intrigues Doyle as he explores the ancient Indian monument as part of his epic freerunning tour of the world.

Freerunning in India shows the 27-year-old world champion tricker from Liverpool exploring several locations in India, including a bustling market place. When the crowd gets to intense for Doyle, he quickly escapes to the rooftops, where he immediately feels at home, running and jumping across the shanties.

“Freerunning in India” maintains the pace and high level of interest that has so far defined the “Seven Wonders” series. As well as containing some breathtakingly beautiful freerunning footage, the webisode introduces the viewer to Indian culture. This is what’s so truly unique about the series – it combines PK with world culture and it does not patronise the audience in the process. Watching Ryan Doyle’s “Freerunning in India” is time well spent.
